LEROY NICOLAS
photographs

November 19 to December 2, 2010

Breviary is the result of experiments using the body in confrontation with the landscape, habitat and sometimes, sometimes threatening. It's a reflection on the distance and exile; the camera acting as separation and difference.

Nicolas Leroy has a degree in plastic arts from the Ecole Superieure d'Art de Metz. He is currently a Master in photography at the Academie Royale des Beaux-Arts in Brussels.
He has won the award Patrick Lecomte 2010.

ACT-IN-L OUT

LUDOVIC YELLOWISH
photography

of 4 to 16 November 2010

"Acting Out "is the term borrowed from psychology to denote the passage to the act.

Jaunatre Ludovic, a young photographer, was born in Nantes in 1974. Graduated with honors from the school of photography in the city Brussels in 2008, he continued his training at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels in the studio of photography by Chantal Maes and between first master.

The idea of working on the transition to the act itself came into being aware of the difficulty in getting a mental image, an image that will be physically existing data to see later.
This gestation time mental image aroused in him a kind of tension that, by accumulating was then externalized.
The "acting out" photography was inevitable and necessary.
This intensity was born a series of images that work together like echoes, resonances as poetic and sometimes evoke healing, sometimes the disorder.
