Chemex Coffeemaker
Chemex soon Gallery Exhibition: Yes! ?? It's beautiful, unusual, useful, nostalgic and modern, timeless ...
Chemex Guide from Trubaca we Vimeo. A guide for
Chemex coffee brewing. Shot At The Verve Roastery was Vado HD PocketCam. Dance moves courtesy of Truby.
Note: someone has me Asked Question regarding The Choice of unbleached filters used ... vs. bleached. I prefer the bleached while Jared prefers the unbleached. We both think the ones we like taste less papery. We used the unbleached in the guide cause that's what we had in the roastery at the time.
The inventor of the beautiful Chemex brewer, Peter Schlumbohm, once said, " With the Chemex, even a moron can make good coffee .” Now, Intelligentsia Coffee has produced a terrific video that will show morons how to make terrific coffee.

Chemex Coffeemaker
article repris de Jessica Hundley 18 Nov 09 carafe drip-system consisting of lab grade borosilicate beaker glass and a filtration system using laboratory filter paper. Peter J. Schlumbohm, Ph.D , had moved to New York City in the mid-1930s and was desperately searching for a great cup of coffee amid the city’s stale automats and late night diners.
I have had the pleasure of owning two Chemex – my first, the classic Chemex coffee maker – with the wood holding ring and leather cord – was one of my favorite breakfast fetishes, a hippie classic – and a combo of all the things I love – the clean lines of the beaker glass, the earthy wood, the worn leather cording… and the hot, delicious coffee on a foggy LA morn.
I dropped it and broke it, which is something I tend to do, so my next Chemex, although still beautiful, is of the glass handle/contemporary model, a better way to brew for a klutz like myself. Thank you Dr. Schlumbohm!

Le projet comprend un film 16mm, une œuvre vidéo, une série de polaroids et un tourne-disque.

Welcome Letter In Hotel Room
DREAMS OF DIANE
Ferran Sanchez Castillo invites us to play in a room full of keys and balloons.
With the game begins dream, the quest for a possible being or impossible.
complex character of Greek mythology, huntress Diana had been careful to make a game, that of love. She did not experience the horrors and pain of passion. Chaste and pure beauty prohibited, Diana was also capable of cruelty and intransigence for whom succumbed to his seductive power.
In the images that accompany her installation, Ferran Sanchez Castillo is both Diana and that she would have loved. With his human body, the artist questions Diane and love, the instinct of reproduction and its renunciation.
